Nancy Lee Shuff of Wheelersburg went to her Eternal Heavenly Home after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, with her children surrounding her. She was 75 years old. She was born in Scioto County on April 15, 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Shuff and her parents Rev. Harold and Helen Miller Adams.
Nancy is survived by her son Brian Shuff, her daughter Crystal Shuff, her granddaughter Danielle Bless (Ryan), and her great-granddaughter Rylee Bless. She is also survived by three sisters, Patricia Bennett (Gus), Betty Litz (Ron), and Brenda Straits (Zach); a brother, Mike Adams (Cheryl); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She graduated from East High School in 1965 and married her high school sweetheart Frank Shuff on June 4, 1966. She was a loving wife and adoring mother who took great pride in raising her children and granddaughter. She attended Jeanettes Creek Christian Baptist Church in Franklin Furnace where she sang, played piano, and taught Sunday School.
Nancy loved relaxing on the beach, listening to the waves, and enjoying the sunshine. She was an accomplished pianist who could often be found tickling the ivories at home and at church. She also enjoyed sewing and working in her flowerbeds. More than anything, though, she loved being surrounded by her family and playing with her great-granddaughter.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Jeanettes Creek Christian Baptist Church in Franklin Furnace. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace under the direction of the D.W. Swick Funeral Home “Wolfe-Nelson Chapel” in Sciotoville. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday. Flower arrangements may be sent before noon on Monday to Jeanettes Creek Christian Baptist Church.
