There’s nothing more frightening than a report of a missing child, and Portsmouth Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing teenagers who went missing over the weekend.
While both kids are believed to have runaway, even kids who leave home of their own free will can end up in danger.
The first case is 13-year-old Kaidence Leib, whom police say was last seen at her home on Dorman Drive on Saturday.
Kaidence is described at 5’3” and around a hundred pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Also missing is 15-year-old Keyon Edwards. He was last seen at home on 7th Street on Sunday wearing an Ohio State sweatshirt. He’s described as 5’6” tall and 120lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Crapyou at the Portsmouth Police Department at (740) 353-4101 or (740) 354-1600.
In an interesting twist, there’s a comment on the police department’s missing post for Keyon, from someone claiming to be him, saying that he isn’t a runaway and laughing about the situation.
Multiple people reported seeing the young man riding his bike around the East End. We’ll update you on any new developments in the case.
