Marilyn Jean Moore, 78, of Portsmouth, formerly of Sciotoville, died on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the SOMC Hospice Center, with her family by her bedside. Born on March 28, 1946, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Charles Richard and Martha Jean Grashel Martin and was a registered nurse.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Troy) Delabar of Portsmouth and Shelly (Mark) Fisher of Minford; a sister, Shirley Bussey of Bellevue; grandchildren, Martin Krae Hollyrocck Fisher, Elijah-Boyd Fisher, Paul Sullivan (Amy) Fisher, M. Kevin (Stacey) Delabar, Alyssa (Drew) Williams, Lauren (D.J.) Pearsall and Chloe Delabar; great-grandchildren, Kadeyn Fisher, Krae-Lynn Fisher, Kyleigh Fisher, Bradley Fisher, Addie Delabar, Brynlee Delabar, EmmieJean Williams and Ivy Grace Williams; a nephew, John (Stacey) Bussey and a niece, Rohnda (Jonathan) Pickering.
A gathering will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
