Sandra Kay Packard, 61, of Sciotoville, died on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the SOMC Hospice Center, with her family by her bedside. Born on January 31, 1963, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Richard “Dick” Martin and Helen Hinkle Martin and was a substitute teacher.
Sandy was a graduate of Clay High School and received an associate degree from Shawnee State University. She was associated with the Portsmouth Motorcycle Club.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Dean “Otto” Packard, her “mom,” Anita Pierce and a sister, D’Nita Martin.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Anna Will) Riley of Sciotoville, three daughters, Alisha (Jessie) Dunn of Marion, Ashley (Jason Craig) Riley of Portsmouth and Raven Dyer of Sciotoville; four brothers, Eric “Stevie” (Teresa Jenkins) Martin of Wheelersburg, Richard “Dickie” Martin of Florida, Albert Spears of Portsmouth and Richie Lennox of TN; two sisters, Tammy (Eric Raines) Hall of Wheelersburg and Angie Colley of Lucasville; grandchildren, Hayley, Brittany, Sierra, Jaylee, Mikaela, Raquelle, Rayden, Levi, Whitney, Morgan, Riley and James, and a great-granddaughter, Brinleigh.
A service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
