Amber Dawn Hinshaw, 37, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Friday, August 7, 2026. She was born June 21, 1989 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Richard (Machele) McBee of Waverly and Gina Kuhner McBee of Bainbridge, Ohio. Also surviving are her husband, Joshua Hinshaw of Portsmouth, Ohio; her sons, Wyatt Allred and Tyler Hinshaw of Bainbridge; a sister, Cathy McBee of Waverly; a brother, Coleman Gibson of Bainbridge; maternal grandfather, Jospeh (Jamie) Kuhner; paternal grandfather, Richard McBee; aunt, Rhonda (Doug) Beaver; uncle, Derrick McBee; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janet Woodruff and Betty McBee.
Amber was a 2007 graduate of Western High School. She always lived in the moment, was very caring to others and was always a lively person.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August, 16, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Chuck Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
