Harold Emerson Kronk, Sr., 85, of Minford, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born January 31, 1941in Minford, a son of the late Ralph Donaldson and Maude Lovelle (Allen) Kronk. Harold was the Plant Manager at Minford Telephone Company, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by three sons, David (Sandra) Kronk, Keith Kronk, Kevin (Sheila) Kronk; one daughter, Janie (Matt) Kronk; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Janie) Kronk, Mike Kronk; a close companion, Cindy Messer, and a sister-in-law, Carla Kronk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Elaine (Sisler) Kronk; one son, Harold Kronk, Jr.; one brother Howard Kronk, and a brother and sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Minford. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A. Baker Post No. 363.
