Mark Fox, 57, of South Shore, KY, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on September 11, 1968, a son of Kenny and Bonnie Bentley Fox.
Mark was a retired Engineer from the Ashland Federal Correctional Institution in Ashland, KY. He became a member of the Sunshine United Methodist Church in 1992, which is now the Sunshine Community Church in South Shore, KY.
He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Cheryl Veach.
Left behind to cherish his memory along with his parents are his wife of 35 years, Chrystal Fannin Fox; one daughter, Kelsey Jo (Tyler) Wright of Jonesborough, TN; one son, Brady Clark (Emily) Fox of Berea, KY; one sister, Anne (Matt) Baker; one grandson, Wayger Wright; mother-in-law, Marie Fannin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Candy (Roger) Gillum, Buddy (Rhonda) Fannin and John Veach; along with several other nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Jeff Lambert officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the service hour. A private inurnment will be at a later date.
