Les D. Bradshaw, 62, of West Portsmouth died Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. He was born July 8, 1962 to the late Donald and Thelma (Litz) Bradshaw, who survives. Along with his father, he was proceeded in death by a sister, Lisa Hadsell.
Les was a 1980 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. After graduation, he went on to work as an Ironworker for the Ironworkers Union 769 where he later retired. He was a member of Nauvoo Masonic Lodge 769 where he served as a past Master. Of all the things he did, his biggest joy was being a father, grandfather, uncle, and supporting the children in his life in all their endeavors. He attended many ball games far and wide, following his children and their friends as they played various sports but you could always find him watching some sort of game, especially if the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, or Cincinnati Reds were playing. In recent years he began following the Shawnee State Bears Softball team, supporting the ones he loves, in true Les fashion.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his children, Brandon (Hannah) Bradshaw and Kristen Bradshaw; a sister, Lori Allen; 2 grandchildren, Josephine and Reggie Bradshaw; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends that will miss him greatly.
Funeral services will be 6PM Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Ed Shonkwiler officiating and a Masonic service to follow. Friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 4 until the time of the service on Monday. A committal service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11AM at Scioto Burial Park.
