Deputies investigated two storage-facility thefts on the same day, including units with locks cut and a truck stripped of valuable parts.
One investigation began at a storage facility where a man discovered that locks had been cut from multiple storage units.
According to the sheriff’s report, several units appeared to have been entered. Items reported missing included tools and other property. Deputies photographed the damage and began documenting what had been taken.
Later that day, deputies were called to another storage facility.
In that case, a man checking on a Ford F-350 stored at the facility discovered several parts missing from the truck.
The report says the stolen items included the vehicle’s catalytic converter, along with other components.
Deputies documented the missing property and damage in both cases.
