Most of us know to be concerned about the possibility of someone putting drugs in your drink or lacing pot with something more dangerous, but a Portsmouth woman flagged down officers just after midnight over concerns someone spiked her meth.
The woman stopped cops on Harding Avenue and said someone gave her drugs. Police said she appeared highly intoxicated. She told them she’d just used meth, but that’s all she wanted, and she feared something else was in her drugs. Officers suspected she might be under the influence of an opiate in addition to meth.

As the woman was already agitated and afraid, the officer skipped calling a squad and drove her directly to the hospital.
