Suspect Tasered – Arrested on Weapons Charges
Police subdued and arrested a man with a history of weapons arrests early Sunday morning.
Just after 2:30 am, officers received a report that Levi McNair, 29, had refused to leave a Summit Street residence.
When police caught up with the man, they deployed a Taser to subdue him. Officers took the man into custody and impounded a gun before booking him into the Scioto County Jail for having a weapon under a disability, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, using weapons while intoxicated, and probation violation.
They also took a DNA sample, which they sent off for testing.
This was his 7th visit to the Scioto County Jail. Previous charges include domestic violence, probation violation, carrying a concealed weapon, driving under a suspension, and parole violation.
