Witnesses on 17th Street contacted PPD at 8 pm to report a drive-by shooting in the 1900 block. Callers said they had originally believed that the people who rolled in a black Honda with tinted windows threw firecrackers from the vehicle.
However, when they went outside, they found multiple 9mm shell casings. Officers impounded four Luger shell casings. It did not appear that any vehicles, homes, or people were hit.
