A local hospice worker was fired from a job for a reason that had nothing to do with her job performance, and officers were called to the scene to get a report.
It started after the family of a patient fired a worker, but also wanted to speak to a deputy about it. It turned out that the worker who was caring for the patient had a husband who just got out of prison.
The husband had been to the residence, and the family did not want either of them to return to the home. Deputies explained the family would need to trespass the pair in addition to firing them if they didn’t want them on the property.
