Lucy Lynn Parker, 65, of Minford, passed away Wednesday, July 8th 2026, at her residence. She was known for being a caregiver with a heart of pure gold and an ability to heal someone with just her presence. She was also a firecracker with a fierce love and protection for anyone she cared about.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Parker (and fur babies Dozer & Baby G), her children, Latasha & Tim Kelly, Ryan & Christy Ross, Todd Ross, Micahlee Parker, and Ray Michael Parker Jr.; her Mother, Florence Crump; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Bonnie Warner, Wayne Williams, Robin “Sister Cat” & Danny Riley, Becky & Paul Hollingshead, Mitchell & Kim Crump, Rita Thomas, & Frank Ross; countless nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as a sea of chosen family she’s accumulated simply by touching peoples lives by being herself.
She is proceeded in death by her grandmother, Lucy Pearl Scott; fathers, Frank Roase & Paul Crump; her sisters, Ruthe Ann Ross & Paula Marscella Crump; her niece, Marlie; her granddaughter, Courtney, and many loved ones she can finally be with again.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Harrison-Furnace Cemetery in Minford.
