A protection-order dispute ended with an arrest after a woman reported encountering the man covered by the order at a local business.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies were called after the woman reported seeing the man at a business and raised concerns that he might be tracking her location.
According to the report, the man said he worked at the business and described an encounter between the two near the fuel pumps. The woman, however, told deputies she believed he was somehow learning her location through her cellphone. 09302026_Redacted
She told the deputy this was not the first time she believed he had unexpectedly appeared where she was.
The deputy later met with the woman and continued investigating the circumstances surrounding the protection order and the encounter.
The report ultimately states that the man was placed under arrest for violation of a protection order and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
