Just before 10 am, a witness called 911 to report they’d found a man dead from a gunshot wound on Chillicothe Street.
When EMS arrived on the scene, they confirmed the victim was deceased. The coroner sent a transport to the scene to take the deceased for further forensic investigation by the Montgomery County Medical examiner.

Officers contacted the next-of-kin and collected items as a part of the investigation. They locked up the apartment and took the keys to hand over to the next-of-kin.
Around 11 am, witnesses found another person deceased on 15th Street. Officers notified the next-of-kin and the Scioto County Coroner and took information for a report.
