Portsmouth Police Officers were called in to investigate after Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies contacted them to say they were with a woman in Wheelersburg who said a man sent her a picture of a decapitated head and made threats to kill members of a family living at a Portsmouth address.
When officers arrived at the home, no one answered the door, but police saw no signs of any disturbance.
Portsmouth Police related their findings to deputies, who said they would take a report.
