A man contacted 9-1-1 at 11 am to report his wife had been trapped in the shed at their home by a stray dog that came onto the property. The growling dog would not let her out of the shed. This was a big problem since the couple’s children were alone in the house.
The Scioto County Dog Warden Headed to the scene and took the dog into custody. Officers learned the family had a female dog that was in heat and that was what attracted the other dog.

For some reason, they told the family they could surrender the female dog to them if they liked.
